On February 13 at the SIBUR ARENA, venue for the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy, official tournament partner Canon showcased several products from their latest range.
Innokentiy Pan, the head of technical service Canon CPS in Russia, immediately attracted the attention of the sports photographers present by introducing two cameras: EOS‑1D X Mark III and EOS R5, detailing the key technical improvements (of which there are 100 in total) of the EOS‑1D X Mark III.
During every Olympic year, the company makes technological breakthroughs in the field of sport photography. The improvements are based on either the latest technological innovations or the requests and feedback received from those within the industry. Most prominent among the advancements made this Olympic year is the opportunity to shoot in two modes, reflex mirror and with “no mirror bounce”. Meanwhile, the latest speed and accuracy characteristics, new AF system and significant quality improvements in pull-video shooting (in both cameras) will enable photographers to capture the historic moments of this Olympic year in unprecedented brightness, detail and clarity.
The first professionals in Russia to put the new technology of EOS‑1D X Mark III through its paces are the accredited photographers at the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy 2020.
For the duration of the tournament the official Canon store at the “SIBUR ARENA” is open and members of the public have the opportunity to take photos in the professional Canon photo area.
