What happened in the second set, you were leading?
I think she [Rybakina] kind of raised her level and I got a little bit tired – physically and mentally – kind of fatigued, so I think that was the biggest issue today [in the second and third sets].
What did your coach say to you on court and off court?
We didn’t really speak a lot [about the match] because he knows it’s a little bit tough, he needs to give me a little bit of time, just to get over the loss. Once I’m more relaxed and more calm, we’re going to go through the match.
How can you evaluate this week and do you have plans to come back here?
I know that indoors is not really my surface. So reaching the semis here against some big girls, some big hitters, I think it is a positive thing. I’m going outdoors now, which is sort of like my comfort zone, so I think I’m playing well and I think I’ll keep it up. I’ve got mixed feelings [about coming back]. The court doesn’t suit me perfectly, my serve is not that effective. But it’s a very nice tournament so of course I’ll really think about [coming back] when we work out my schedule for next year.
