OSTAPENKO STOPPED SASNOVICH FROM REACHING THE SEMIS

The Latvian Jelena Ostapenko stormed past Aliaksandra Sasnovich from Belarus in three sets – 7/6(5), 4/6, 6/3. The match lasted 2 h 26 mins. Ostapenko had fewer aces (5 vs. 7) with fewer double faults being made. «I’m not quite happy with the way I was playing today. I played much better in the first two matches.
