How to get venue?
Concert and sports complex Sibur Arena is a multipurpose facility on Krestovsky Island of St.Petersburg (Futbolnaya Alleya, 8).
Sibur Arena is located on Krestovsky Island – in a park on the waterfront of the Gulf of Finland. Close to the arena there is a cycle track and an athletics arena. In the same area the famous FC Zenit stadium is in the final stages of construction. The main arena with a capacity of 7120 seats hosts various sports competitions. The stands are constructed in such a way that a viewer can clearly see the playing field from any seat.
The complex used to be a home stadium for the basketball club “Spartak”. Now a new BC “Zenit” founded in the summer of 2014 plays here. Apart from basketball matches, Sibur Arena also holds European League handball matches, and in October 2013 it was home to the World Combat Games.
Aside from sports competitions, the complex also holds concerts, circus performances, theater shows, exhibitions, conferences and business events.
In 2015 Sibur Arena has been approved by the ATP as a venue for the International tennis tournament St. Petersburg Open.
